For the unversed, Paul Harrell was a veteran of the US Army. He had served 20 years in the military, first in the Marine Corps and then in the Army. After his serving in the military, Paul Harrell started his YouTube channel to share his knowledge about guns and other firearms.
Through his educational video about guns, firearms, and how to safely use them, Paul Harrell accumulated more than 1.13 million subscribers, creating his niche in the competitive realm of social media. His unique style of creating firearms videos earned him a notoriety on a large scale very quickly.

Paul Harrell’s cause of death was cancer. According to the reports, Paul Harrell was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July last year. When he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Paul Harrell announced that they had detected cancer early but it was not enough early to protect him from the illness.
Reportedly, his cancer had spread throughout his body even in bones which caused several fractures to him. Due to bone brokerage, Paul Harrell was compelled to use the crutches. In the posthumous video, Paul Harrell also requested his subscribers and followers not to unsubscribe from his channel as it is planned to continue. While concluding the video, Paul Harrell expressed that he had no regrets while pointing out his work.

In the video posted by Paul’s brother Roy Harrell and his editor Dan Nelson, he says the last thing he would want to say is his sincere apologies. He had hoped that he would continue in this format for the next ten or fifteen years, and even once he was diagnosed, he had hoped that he’d be there for two or three more years but it turned out to be only a few more months.
