The group Enhypen completed their debut performance on the stage of the American music festival ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Coachella’).
On the 12th (local time), ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunwoo, and Niki) went up on the Sahara Stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, USA, and performed 13 songs in a row for about 45 minutes. The audience responded to their live stage and performance, singing along and cheering throughout the concert.
Starting with their first song, ‘Blockbuster (Like an Action Movie)’, they quickly took the stage with ‘Blessed-Cursed’, ‘Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)’, and ‘ParadoXXX Invasion’. They also showed their genre diversity with ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes) (English Ver.)’, ‘Daydream’, ‘Moonstruck’, and ‘Bite Me’.
In the latter half, the atmosphere reached its peak with ‘Drunk-Dazed’ and ‘Brought The Heat Back’ rearranged into EDM versions. The audience continued the excitement of the concert hall by chanting “ENHYPEN” even after the show ended.
The concert venue was filled with pickets and cheering sticks with the members’ names and faces printed on them, and airplanes with congratulatory messages appeared in the sky. The online response also spread on SNS with the hashtag ‘ENCHELLA’ (a compound word of Enhypen and Coachella).
ENHYPEN said, “We are excited to be on our first Coachella stage,” and “Tonight will be a night that will go down in history.”
ENHYPEN will return to the second stage of ‘Coachella’ on the 19th at 8:35 PM.
